ABOUT

Brandi Bowen has always been an artist and a visual translator. She takes ideas and turns them into tangible works of art and design, either through paint or pixels. Throughout the last 22 years, her career has spanned from photographer to newsroom staff illustrator…to writer to videographer…to graphic designer to creative director to marketing director…she has done it all and then some.

Some of the companies she has designed for and brand managed have been in Pharmaceutical, Clinical Research, Residential Construction, Commercial Real Estate and Property Management, Automotive, Insurance, Investment Banking and Healthcare fields.

She graduated from Meredith College with a BA in Graphic Design and Minors in Creative Writing and Presentation Media along with Photography and Studio Art and is very passionate about branding, strategy, illustration, design and photography.

One of the things she loves most about design is the chance to make a unique difference for a client. Either through photography, a logo design, brand strategy or creating a one of a kind painting for a client – she strives to create uniqueness in every aspect of her work and loves finding that creative needle from the haystack of ideas.

Her main influences include nature, all things wild and free, found objects and her long list of music. Brandi spends a majority of her time in the South chasing (and photographing) sunrises and looking for the next best hidden place to capture those fleeting moments.

Specialities: Graphic and Web Design, Illustration (digital and hand drawn), Logo Development, Infographic Design, Pre-Press and Production, Project Management, Product Design, Writing, Event Promotion and Management, Social Media, Branding and Identity Design, Brand Management, Fashion Merchandising, Photography, Photo Styling and Video Production + Editing.

She is currently available for freelance projects, photography, marketing and design consultations.
