New Moon Maternity Session

When I first met Ashley and David, I immediately knew that they were one of the sweetest couples I have ever had a chance to get to know. This was their second child and a little girl and being able to capture this sweet momma beside the ocean water at dawn…well, that is just simply perfection to me. It was freezing but you can’t tell from the images. Ashley is a trooper and her husband was so nice. These are the types of sessions I love where you get the meet the families and end up walking away with new friends!

One thing I absolutely love is getting to photograph new mommas. The life that they have growing inside of them adds so much more beauty to these women that I am blessed to capture their new growing bundle of joy. When I met Courtney she was absolutely wonderful in person and such a model! I swear this woman is going to walk to the NY Runway someday! Here are some of the shots from our gorgeous session.

I had the privilege of meeting the lovely Loriana and getting to do a sweet mini-session with her under the Spanish Oaks. Natural light and a gorgeous backdrop are the places I live for, but getting to shoot a client who brings a wonderful energy and lights up like the sunshine, makes the day even better. Chasing Light in Beaufort, South Carolina

One of my absolute favorite things to do is to get up super early before the sun rises and capture that day glow. The first moment the sun breaks across the horizon and gives off this spectrum of colors that you don’t often see throughout your day.

Either at the beach or at the mountains, you can capture a sunrise or a sunset between the trees or over the waves. Here is one of my all time favorite photographs I captured of a sunrise in Beaufort, South Carolina earlier this year. I did not edit this shot and it was just one of those moments where the marsh, horizon and that of sunshine all aligned just perfectly.

The early bird advice is the best kind of advice…Keep getting up early, and you will be sure to capture something beautiful!

Hello world!

Hello world! I am so happy to introduce my new website to you along with my new blog. Years ago I started an art and design blog called Ever So Lovely which featured artists, designers, weddings and all other wonderful things and people from around the world. So here I am again, with this new website starting everything under the umbrella of my name.

It just feels right to do this – to keep pushing forward with my art and sharing with you my features of the week and introducing new artists as I come across them along with inspiration to keep your days shiny and beautiful!

I hope that you will follow me along on this creative journey and enjoy what I have to share along with some amazing things I have planned for this year and what is to come in 2019! Stay tuned lovelies!
